Stuff took two days longer than the guaranteed delivery window of August 5th – 11th. Maybe they went via New York City. Considering that it cost nearly as much as it did to move from Spain…

Big Wheaton semi with grouchy driver and helper arrived an hour later than promised due to “traffic like LA around here.”
Ordered appearance of household goods (helps to reduce volume and thus stuff more inside rig) apparently achieved through rough handling and indiscriminate stacking. That, compounded by hurried unloading (involving carrying boxes upside down and leaving wherever convenient), has meant many broken items.
